History
1648 was delivered new to Morebus in 2016 for use on the X3 between Bournemouth and Salisbury. She spent years pounding up and down that route, even fitted with tables upstairs to suit the long journeys. In summer 2024 she came off the X3, replaced by newer MMCs, and was later repainted for Southern Vectis work mainly on the 7 and 12. By mid-2025 she was VOR with engine problems and needing an engine rebuild. The hope is to eventually preserve her back in her original 2016 Morebus X3 livery.
